Gober Post Frame Buildings

Gober did a great job on my replacement barn. The old one was 30 + years and the horses were due a new one. Outstanding workmanship and installation of our new barn was great. I don't think anyone could do a better job than this company, and for the same cost. Three days to complete this 30 x 40 barn with two side sheds 10 x 40 each. I used the heaver gauge material to ensure this one would out last me. Again, if you're in the market for a new barn these guys are the best and would recommend them for any out building you're looking to build. Overall I would go with them again. Taking COVID and weather into consideration I began to wonder if the project would ever get done. It took 6 months on the dot from the day I signed the contract to have the concrete in. It got to the point where I was calling in weekly to get updates and couldn’t get much for answers. Delivery took about 17 weeks. Building crew was there 2 weeks after that and then concrete was about 5-6 weeks after that. Building crew and concrete crews both did a great job. I can’t remember the name of the lead on the building crew but he made it a point to make sure everything was right. Only complaint on the concrete is the one low spot is directly in front of the walk through door but that will happen from time to time.

Heath promises to finish work but never does. He has been called and texted numerous times but then he tells you we’re waiting on a crew. Meanwhile 7 months as gone by and nothing has been resolved. Mr Paul Gober,your companies name is being tarnished by terrible business practice and terrible communication skills. Had family and neighbors ask for your company information and would never give a referral due to our own personal frustrations. Y’all need to make this right and give us a refund so we can have someone else finish the job you will not commit to. One star review is way too generous.

I have had several buildings built by Gober. The building delivery was easy, and the delivery man was an awesome driver and very friendly. The build crew showed up, worked hard, and the got done quickly and the building is very well done. I had issues with the concrete scheduling, and communication, but after having gotten to speak with Heath, the process became much easier. The concrete arrived, and it looks really good. The crew did a great job, and I am looking forward to using my shop for years to come. Gober provides a great product, and with a little patience, you will be happy with your choice to use Gober for your post frame needs.

After the salesman was done with getting the plans done and the contract signed, everything was not as communicated would be. It clearly states in writing that the buildings will be done in the order that they are received. Wrong, they send the crew on a route. So if even though your contract is next, you might be 11th in line because of the route they send them on. I was told this was to help save them fuel cost. Something else they don’t tell you is that after waiting a good while for them to get to your place to do the building, it might be 6 weeks after the building is done before concrete will be poured. Again they do not follow what they say, jobs are not completed in the order they are received. The management and coordinators screw you around and lie about dates. They would rather save a little fuel money and lose their integrity than do what they say they will do. Troy Wilson

This company did an amazing job...waited 11 or so weeks on list but well worth it for the workmanship and price...we love our building..
